  43. WT0N-3  St. Paul, Minnesota will carry all AMSAT bulletins and Keps as well
  44. as other satellite related items such as "SPACENEWS."  The station will be
  45. on 10.127 LSB (30M) Monday through Saturday from 16:00 UTC until 23:OO UTC
  46. Monday through Saturday.  The PBBS uses 300 baud HF Packet, but will also
  47. be available for AMT
  48. is 23:30 to 04:00 UTC.  At this time, the PBBS is set up as an experiment

  69. AMSAT Operations Nets are planned for the following times.  Mode-B Nets
  70. are conducted on AO-13 on a downlink frequency of 145.950 MHz.  If, at
  71. the start of the OPS Net, the frequency of 145.950 MHz is being used
  72. for a QSO, OPS Net enthusiasts are asked to move to the alternate
  73. frequency of 145.955 MHz.

  108.        the onboard command system had been detected.  So, the analog mode
  109.        operations arranged from 9th of Feb. will be performed on schedule,
  110.        but there is a possibility of interruption due to commading.  The
  111.        present schedule is as same announced before.

  147. MIR: MIR is working normally in 145.550 MHz.  R0MIR and R0MIR-1 Personal
  148.        Messaging System (PMS) are active on all the orbits.  [LW2DTZ]

  150. RS-10: ZS6AOP reports that RS-10 is still operating normally at his QTH.
  151.        He notes that there are a handful of regular stations keeping
  152.        the contacts going but recently he has experienced a quiet spell,
  153.        only hearing himself.  ZS6AOP wonders what the preferred mode of
  154.        operation is over Europe and the USA?  Do any stations use CW?  The
  155.        only times has heard CW over Southern Africa is for tuning and
  156.        spotting one's own signal.  [ZS6AOP]

  158. UO-11: ZS6AOP has been monitoring this satellite at regular intervals.
  159.         It is his observation that the signals are weaker today than before
  160.         the on-board computer "crash" several months ago.  [ZS6AOP]

  163. OSCAR status reports.  If you have a favorite OSCAR which you work on a
  164. regular basis and would like to contribute to this bulletin, please send

  166. INTERNET at wd0hhu@amsat.org, or to his local packet BBS in the Denver, CO
  167. area, WD0HHU @ W0LJF.#NECO.CO.USA.NOAM.  Also, if you find that the current
  168. set of orbital elements are not generating the correct AOS/LOS times at
  169. your QTH, PLEASE INCLUDE THAT INFORMATION AS WELL.  The information you
  170. provide will be of value to all OSCAR enthusiasts.

  183. NOAA-9:      APT 137.62 On
  184. NOAA-10:     APT 137.50 On
  185. NOAA-11:     APT 137.62 On
  186. NOAA-12:     APT 137.50 On
  187. Meteor 2-21: APT 137.85 On (weak)
  188.  
  189. NOAA-9 performs well after the outgassing-period, transmitting
  190. Ch.2 and Ch.4 during spacecraft-day and Ch.3 and Ch.4 during
  191. spacecraft-night. The morning descending orbits pass over better
  192. illuminated areas than afternoond-ascening NOAA-11. APT and BCN
  193. of NOAA-9 will be switched off FEB 21 due to VHF-conflict with
  194. NOAA-11 (info from wxsat-list).
  195. Meteor 2-21 is more or less useless for normal APT-Stations.
  196. Meteor 3-3, -4, -5 and -6 were off during all visible passes,
  197. a message about active Meteor 3-6 APT could not be confirmed.
